Women soccer is a very recent kind of sport, not hosted by the FIFA till 1982, and the first world cup for women was on 1991 in the USA, and it was first included in the Olympic games in 1996.

Women sport history:

Women sport was not a very common habit, because it was always against any civilization's traditions to have women practicing sport. That in the first Olympic games, there were no women at all practicing any kind of sport, but in the second tournament they allowed women to play only golf. Even the rules of the games didn't mention any thing about weather women could join it or not.

Soccer for men:

Men started to know soccer many years ago, but not till 1904 they started having the FIFA organization (the federation of international football association) that was the main federation to host the best competitions for soccer around the world. And now men sport is the most common game ever played on earth.

Women soccer in the beginnings:

Women soccer was not found in the map of the FIFA's competitions until the year 1982 as I already said, and from then, FIFA started to hosted women soccer as a formal association and its competitions as one of the main competitions in the FIFA's tournaments gender.

Men and women soccer:

One of the main deference between men and women soccer is that, the countries produces good teams in men soccer can't bring up good female teams, while some countries like the USA which is well known to like the hole games but soccer, is the one who have the best team ever in women soccer, and it have a formal league, and the universities there care about this sport more than all the others, while men team is not that important team world wide, but can be dangerous when looking at their continent teams .
For example, in men soccer world we find that Italy, Argentina, Brazil are the best to play soccer world wide, and the ones who have the best leagues on earth, but we can hardly listen about their women teams, specially Argentina and Italy.
While in women world we find that the USA team and china leads the world, but we can hardly listen about those nation's men teams. But still Norway and Germany have both men and women soccer teams as good as each other.
On the other hand, men can play a 100 international game in their career, and that will be too much and absolutely great if one made it and played more than 150. While women do play more than 200 international games and still they are still have many things to achieve in soccer world.
So women are given to the sport more than men do, but many people can't see that.

Women Soccer and the Arabic world:

Arabic world still can't accept many sports practiced by girls so soccer was nothing defer. As it goes with all kind of sport for girls, Morocco, Egypt and Tunisia were always the leader in hosting new games and soccer had such conditions.
Four years ago Egypt started to organize girls soccer league, and at that time it includes only 4 teams, now it includes 12 and they are playing as seriously as men do.

Soccer in Kuwait:

Soccer in Kuwait started from the year of 1932 when the Kuwaiti national federation was organizes and the teams started to create, but not until the year 2001 when there have been some thoughts to try such games with girls. And Kuwait University was the first one to organize such activity. And it was the first time such a sport practiced by girls in the Arabian Gulf countries level.

Women Soccer in Kuwait:

The tradition in Kuwait made soccer always connected with men, and the girls who even think about watching soccer games were called (men like girls). So it was always a wrong idea to even think about organizing such a tournament for girls. Not until our university organized the first ever women soccer competition in Kuwait history in 9 - April - 2001. And their were a satisfying number of schools and teams interested in this tournament and to be the first in Kuwait to play this kind of sport for women.
High schools, English schools, and the university and women clubs in Kuwait joined this tournament. Each participated with either one or two teams.
In Kuwait soccer is only men sport and when girls practice it, they used to be anti female girls because they have interest in this sport, the common point of view is that when girls play it, they will have muscle which destroys their physical appearance, and the girl who plays soccer can't be a complete female. And when girls play it they should have something wrong in their thinking that a good girl should not play nor watch this tough game.
Soccer might be indeed a tough game, but what if girls wanted badly to play it. What if it is was as a dream for them to play soccer as well as men do, will word tough be enough to keep them away from practicing it.
One of the main elements why girls here should not play soccer is Islam our religion. More than 50% of the girls here wearing scarf so how shall they play soccer while wearing scarves, that might be funny in our society, while in Egypt I saw girls playing soccer, basketball, handball while wearing scarves and believe it or not, they are the best players in this filed.

Things to support the idea of soccer anti-female:

Many things support this idea, that many girls playing soccer have a boy hair cut, they act like boys, give their hole live to soccer and not thinking about marriage and motherhood, their body with training turn to be men like bodies because of practicing.
But still people like to encourage such a game, not noticing any of these factors.

Women interest in soccer around the world:

The world starting to accept it as a normal kind of sport, and men attend it to support women national teams as they do with the men national teams. And in the US they don't usually go to see men national team playing as much as they do with women.
Women around the world accepted soccer as a very interesting game, that they care too much about attending soccer games for their best clubs games, and they do support, like their husbands and brothers, and they do get sad for looses as much as the men do.
